Can We Meet

Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Can We Meet at canwemeet.me or through a connected AI assistant. Last updated: 30 October 2026.

The service and your agreement

Can We Meet helps you organise meetings, collect replies and choose a time. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for an organisation, you must have permission to do so. Questions about these terms can be sent to Hello@canwemeet.org.

Your account and meeting links

Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account, including connected assistants. Treat organiser and invitation links as private: someone with a valid link may be able to access the meeting or reply.

Only enter information you are entitled to share. Tell participants how their information will be used and do not share someone else’s private diary without their permission.

Check before you share or book

AI can misunderstand names, dates, availability or instructions. Check the summary, timezone, participants and proposed time, and correct anything wrong. A suggested time is not a booking. Confirm only when you intend to book it.

The connector does not automatically send invitations to your contacts. It gives you a link and a message to share yourself. Optional sending and calendar actions on the website or iPhone app require your action; service notifications may still be sent where enabled.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, impersonate others, send abusive or unwanted content, attempt to access another person’s meetings, bypass access controls or overload the service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent misuse, protect people or comply with the law.

Your information and connected services

You retain your rights in the information you provide. You allow us to process it to deliver the service as described in our Privacy & Security notice. Deletion and retention limits mean some information cannot be recovered.

Claude, ChatGPT, calendar providers and other services have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and features are outside our control. Disconnect a service when you no longer want it to have access.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the service reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free AI output. Features may change or become unavailable. Do not rely on Can We Meet alone for urgent, safety-critical or legally binding arrangements.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that UK law does not allow us to exclude. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide, unauthorised sharing by you, or services outside our control.

Ending use, changes and disputes

You can stop using the service, disconnect assistants and request account or data deletion. Contact us if you need help. We may update these terms as the service changes, showing a fixed updated date and highlighting material changes where appropriate.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales can hear disputes; if you are a UK consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the UK country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem.
