Add Can We Meet to your home screen
Put Can We Meet on your phone or computer home screen so it opens full screen like an app, with no browser bar and no typing the address. There is nothing to download from an app store. This is the same website saved as a shortcut, so it is always up to date.
iPhone or iPad
Can We Meet has to be added from Safari. If you opened this page in another browser, copy the address into Safari first.
- Open canwemeet.me in Safari.
- Tap the Share button in the Share row at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add to confirm.

Android phone or tablet
- Open canwemeet.me in Chrome.
- Tap the menu (three dots) at the top right.
- Tap Add to home screen, or Install app where that is offered.
- Tap Add or Install to confirm.
Menu names differ slightly between Android versions and browsers. If you don't see either option, use your browser's bookmark or save option instead.
Computer
In Chrome or Edge, open the menu at the top right and choose Install Can We Meet, or use the install icon at the right end of the address bar. The site then opens in its own window and appears in your app list.
If your browser doesn't offer that, press Ctrl + D (or Command + D on a Mac) to bookmark it.
What you get
- An icon on your home screen or app list, so arranging or checking a meeting is one tap.
- The site opens full screen, without browser buttons or an address bar.
- You stay signed in, so your meetings and replies are where you left them.
- Nothing to update. It is the live site, so you always have the current version.
Good to know
- You still need a connection. A home screen shortcut doesn't let Can We Meet work offline.
- A separate iPhone app is coming. Until then, this shortcut is the closest thing to it.
- Removing the shortcut only removes the icon. It doesn't delete your account, your meetings or your details.
- Invitees never need an account or an app. Your home screen shortcut is only for you.
